Cornell Service Operations Teaching Assistant

During her time at Cornell University, Michelle was a Teaching Assistant for the Service Operations course, teaching students to identify problems in a business and strategies to solve them.

Michelle's Work

  • Assisted 100+ students with coursework related to the class.

  • Taught students how to utilize lean, six sigma, and lean six sigma to optimize company operations.

  • Taught students wait time models to optimize company performance, specifically in the restaurant industry.

  • Demonstrated how Monte Carlo Simulations can be used to determine the probability of different outcomes and mange risk in a company through real life scenarios.
